Thó Wiŋ Magazine

Thó Wiŋ is the literary and arts magazine of Augsburg University in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis, MN.

Augsburg University is built on stolen land. The Dakota and the Anishinaabe people are the original inhabitants of this land, and they remain the rightful stewards to this day. In 2021, our editorial board changed our magazine's name to Thó Wiŋ to acknowledge this fact, as well as to amplify marginalized voices in the publishing industry and to break from imperialist project-building in some way, however small. Art—in all its forms—has long been a vector of subversion and resistance pointing toward liberation, and we at Thó Wiŋ Magazine aim to ground ourselves in and face the future from that radical tradition.
